The first sheet is a sentence, not a summary

A board will remember the first thing it is shown. That sheet should be a sentence the room can repeat, not a reduced copy of the whole pack.

Write the spoken line before the ink

The sheet is there so the sentence can be said. If the sentence is not known, the ink will start deciding the meeting.

The appendix is a kindness

A number can be correct and still be the wrong thing to stand up. The appendix is where we put the truth that would derail the hour.

A thin harvest, shown at the same scale

A weak season does not need a softer drawing. It needs the same scale as the strong season, and a spoken line that does not apologize for the paper.
