Cookie notice
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to keep, so a later visit can recognize a choice you already made. This practice uses one first-party cookie for that purpose. Related detail about personal information sits in the privacy notice.
Types we use
Essential. The consent cookie remembers whether you accepted or rejected the banner, so the banner does not have to appear on every page. The site does not depend on it. If you reject, or if you block cookies entirely, the sittings, notes, and inquiry form still work.
Analytics. We do not set an analytics cookie, and we do not run a third-party analytics script. If that ever changes, this notice and the banner will be updated before any such cookie is set.

The same choice is also kept in local storage under the key lucidripple-cookie-consent. Local storage is not a cookie, but it lives on your device for the same reason: so we do not ask again. Rejecting still writes that key, with the value rejected. Nothing else on the site reads it.
Third parties
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. That request goes to Google and can include your IP address. Google may set or read its own cookies under its policies when that request is made. We do not control those cookies. We do not embed advertising, video players, or social buttons.
How to manage or disable cookies
Use the Reject button on the banner if you do not want a consent cookie recorded as accepted. You can also delete lr_consent and the local storage key in your browser’s site settings, and you can block cookies for this host entirely. Blocking cookies does not close the site. The banner may reappear if the stored choice is gone.
Browser makers document the steps in their own help pages. The control is on your device, not in our rooms.
If you disable them
The inquiry form, the sittings, and the notes remain available. You may see the banner again. Fonts may fall back to a standard serif if the Google request is blocked, and the pages stay readable.
